Step by step process to create Instagram profile business cards in Canva
Step 1: Open Canva. Create a custom design with size 2 inch (width) and 3.5 inch (height).
Step 2: Start with collecting instagram png (without background) icons on the internet. You will need following icons to crate a look a like Instagram business card:
Back sign, Bell, Profile icon, 3×3 grid, reels sign, photo tag icon, home icon, search icon, Link icon and add new post icon.

After you collect all the icons, add them to Canva via upload.
Step 3: Open any instagram profile in the mobile and keep it as a base in front of you. Start aligning the header part first.
Drag the back icon and put it in the upper left area. In the middle of the header section, write your instagram username followed by a bell icon and three dots.
Step 4: Go to elements, search for a frame, select a circle frame.
Resize it to a short length and place in the left section below the back button giving proper distance.Now select, a text area and write down posts, followers, and following details. Align it to the opposite of circle frame in the right.
Step 5: Below the circle frame, write down your name or business name. If you have created a threads account, create a section for it below the name. Go to elements, search for a pill shape. Select it and adjust it. Write down your threads username inside it.
Step 6: Check your instagram profile, write the profile category exactly the same written in the profile. Color it blue. Agsin go to text section, select “add a bit of body text”. Copy paste your bio details here. below to the bio, Add a link icon followed by your website name.
Then, again go to elements, select the pill icon again, make three buttons Follow, Message, and suggested profiles. Adjust the pill icon size accordingly.
Step 7: Once you are done, go to elements, search for a circle frame, select it and adjust the height and width such that you can add up to 4-5 circle frames in a row. It will complete your highlights section.
Step 8: Drag your uploaded icons (3×3 grid, reels, and tag) to the template. Align them in a single line. The sequence will be grid, reels, and tag. Keep exact distance between each icon.
Step 9: Go to elements, search for frame and select a square frame. adjust the size of the frame in such a manner that you can add up to 3 frames in a row below each icon.
Once you arranged them in a row, group them and duplicate it downwards.
Step 10: Go to elements select a rectangle shape, make a footer area. Put home, search, add new post, reels, and a small circle frame inside it as seen in the instagram profile.
Step 11: Now, select a line, hover it to any one of the frame below the posts, reels, and tag photo icon.
Step 12: Upload your instagram profile picture, highlights photos, and posts photos to Canva. Drag and drop in the circle frame and square frames.
