Do not worry, today, this article will help you create gift tags/party favor tags online using Canva. All you will need is a free Canva account to start with.

What is the ideal gift tag size?
The ideal gift tag size is 2.25×3.75 inches. While, you can create any size tag as needed through Canva (1×4 inch, 2×3 inch, 2×2 inch etc). Here, in this article we have taken a standard size of 2.25 inch x 3.75 inch.
Step 1: Select a custom size, 2.25×3.75 Inch.
Step 2: Write your message, add illustration/photo, birthday boy/girl name.
Step 3: Add a small circle icon to the top middle tag. This will help you get a fine circle sign, to be cut and insert the thread.

Thank You Tags with Triangular Cutting Edges
To create a triangular shape at the top edges, go to the elements section, drag and drop triangle shape. Duplicate it. Adjust both the triangles to both left and right top corners of the tags as seen in the video below.
Thank You Cone Head shape Tags:
To create a cone shape at the top of the tag, go to the elements section, drag and drop triangle shape. Extend the triangle shape from left edge of the tag to the center. Duplicate the triangle and align it from the right edge to the center.
Once the shape has been aligned opposite to each other, group them. Drag it to the top and adjust as seen in the video below.
Once your tag has been created, download the image. Open a new A4 (Landscape) size in Canva design.
Upload your tag image. Drag it to the canvas board. You can adjust up to 8 tags on a single page for PDF download and print.
Note: If you use triangle shape to cut edges, make sure to change the background color of the A4 landscape canvas same as triangle color in order to get a perfect cut after the printing.
