Birthday bunting series is a quite popular and one of the widely used Birthday party decor items. Buying a birthday banners from stores leaves you with limited options. But, you can create a custom birthday bunting banner garland series by your own.
All you need is a Canva app. You can make numerous party decor items like birthday invitations, thank you cards, birthday banners etc with ease. The best thing is in minutes.
Check out the steps to create Happy Birthday series bunting in Canva
Step 1: Login to Canva app on your web browser
Step 2: Create a new template design of 5×7 Inch.
Step 3: Customize the template by adding elements/photo/illustration.
Step 4: Take a Heading Text, Type a letter “H”. Adjust the Font size, test different fonts. Once you have finalized the font family, font size and design, duplicate the template below. Replace the letter “H” with “A”. Again duplicate it and follow the same process to complete Happy Birthday series.
Similarly, by duplicating the template, you can replace it to add numbers and birthday boy/girl name.
Once you create the bunting series, download the design to a zip file. Unzip it and upload all images to Canva. Select a new A4 landscape template. You can download up to 2 bunting letters/numbers images on a A4 size print paper.
So, add two bunting images on each A4 template. Once you have arranged all the sequence, download the print PDF file and supply it to the printing shop for high quality printing.

How to make stylish birthday bunting in different shapes?
Arrow Block Down
For making arrow block down shape, simply go to elements, select the triangle shape. Touch the triangle to the left corner of the template. Now, stretch the triangle to the center line of the template. Once, done, duplicate the triangle and flip it. Touch the second triangle to the right end point such that both the triangle nose touches each other.
Once the triangle nose touches each other, group them and drag it downloads. The nose of the triangles should touch the bottom of the template.
Note: When you use the triangle to cut the edges, make sure to use the same background color while aligning the pngs on A4 template. This will help you fine banner cut after printing.
Triangle Edge Bunting
Go to elements, select a triangle shape, rotate it to incline upward. Now, extend it from corner end points and touch them to both templates corner. Drag it bottom and touch it to the footer area of the template. You are done.
