Mahendra Singh Dhoni has broken the record of cricket’s God Sachin Tendulkar of hitting most number of sixes by an Indian batsman. Sachin had hit 195 sixes in 463 ODIs. This Indian finisher has hit 3 sixes against New Zealand in the third ODI match and now leading the table with 196 sixes. He is the fourth highest six hitter of the world after Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, and Brandon McCullum. He is very close to McCullum’s record and needs just 4 sixes to equal his record.
The “7” number Indian jersey player took just 244 innings to reach the milestone while Sachin Tendulkar has achieved the record in 452 innings.
