The world’s longest snake Giant python is found in Malaysia

A giant python found in Malaysia has set a new world record. The snake is 7.65m long. The local authorities are claiming its size around 8m. The incident can hold the record of the world’s longest snake caught in the Guinness book and Limca book of world record.  Few workers working on a construction site in Malaysia saw this giant snake. See the picture below.

The incident takes place in Paya Terubong, Penang. The workers were working on Thursday on a construction site and they suddenly see a big reptile. They stopped the work by announcing emergency to catch the big python.

The python belongs to the reticulated python species. This python family is common in East Asia. Reticulated pythons are known for their big size and shape. The reticulate female pythons lay 20 to 80 eggs per clutch. The reticulated pythons are known to produce for long size but not for heavy mass index and weight. The anacondas hold the record of heavyweight reptiles.

This giant snake is 7.65m long and 250 kg in weight. The team took 30 minutes to catch this giant snake.

Medusa, a python snake holds  the title of the longest snake in the world in Guinness world book. The snake is 7.67m long.

The amazing fact is that the world’s longest snake belongs to the same species(reticulated python). This female snake is 92kg lighter than the snake found on Thursday. There’s a story of the longest snake in Indonesia who was found a shot dead. The snake was believed to be 10m long.

But, a bad news also comes with this good news. The Malaysian department has announced that the Python is no more alive in this world. The python died after laying an egg. The death of a giant python is still a mystery because no one knows the actual reason behind the death.
