The most successful Captain in the history of IPL and Indian cricket will miss the IPL Playoffs for the first time. It’s a bad news for him. He had led Chennai Super Kings in the last 8 editions and played all knockout stage rounds of IPL.

Ajinkya Rahane and Sourabh Tiwari played a brilliant knock of 50+ for the team and helped their team to reach 191. The team has lost a close match against Royal challengers Banglore. They again fail to defend a giant score of 191 runs. Virat Kohli has again shown his class and proved he is the only batsman in the Banglore squad whom the team can rely upon.

The new team joined the IPL club in this year has lost his 7th match out of 10 matches. If they will win their 4 matches then also they will collect only 14 points. It is not enough to compete with the top listed teams namely Gujarat Lions, Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.

The major reason behind their poor performance is their bowling side. They don’t have any bowler in the squad whom they can rely upon. MS Dhoni tried hard to manage the strength of bowling but the poor performance of Ishant Sharma, R Ashwin and RP Singh increased his troubles.

The batting side at the one end strengthen the power of RPS but at the same time, the bowling attack lowers their performance. Now, the team has to enter the ground with a balanced squad to end the season with few wins.

Hope! we will see some major changes in the team in the next year.
